Riot to face current holders
The Norfolk League cup is now onto the semi-final stage and we are down to just 4 remaining sides chasing glory and the VIP prize - and what a line-up we have.
White Riot, 4 times Norfolk league champions and 3 times Norfolk Trophy winners continue their pursuit for the one trophy that has so far eluded them against Shawfield Reborn, the side who along with Dutch Warriors, dominated the cups last season, winning the league cup and finishing runners-up in the Trophy.
In the other semi-final we have the classic David versus Goliath as the mighty Dutch Warriors, three times winners of this competitions, and winners of 5 major trophies face a toon rejects side who thrive under the tag of the under dog. Murray Parsons' men have previously reached the final of this competition but are still chasing their first major trophy. They are currently in a higher division than the Warriors though.
