For the second consecutive week we travel to Denmark to focus on the "European Derby" clash at the Riders Dome as Dinot's men look to keep alive their fading hopes of promotion to the Norfolk League against league leaders Dutch Warriors.
THIS SEASON------------------------------------------------
After a good start in which they won 4 of their opening 5 matches, the Riders have now slipped to 4th following last weekends draw against N.Y.Muggers. They now trail the Muggers by 5 points and Saturday's opponents by 6, meaning they realistically need a positive result out of this game. Dinot's men exited the league cup at the second round stage in midweek - also to the Muggers. Their goals have dried up recently with prolific strikers Tovetoft and Walsted both having gone 4 games without scoring.
Following their relegation from the Norfolk League last season, the Warriors began the season as red hot favorites for an immediate return and so far they have not disappointed winning 6 of their 8 games and having only spent 1 week outside the top 2 places. They are also progressing well in the league cup, reaching the quarter finals after a 1-0 aggregate win over AFC Trotters - the side who defeated them in the quarter finals of the Trophy.

Dutch Warriors will be without 21-year-old defender Kim Venema who looks set to be out injured for 3 weeks.

Recent form and past meetings would suggest Dutch Warriors start this game as firm favourites. However the Riders have a good home record and until recently the Warriors have been struggling on their travels. One things for sure, the Riders will need their strike force firing again if they are to stand a chance of winning.
