-------------------------------------------------------------
DIVISION ONE: Shawfield Reborn v Ross County Reserves,
Saturday 31st January 2008, Kick off: 19:00 CET,
at Shawfield Park, Sweden.
-------------------------------------------------------------

As we enter the final weekend of the season, there is still one promotion place available. Shawfield Reborn have dominated the division and baring a cricket score defeat they will clinch the Division One title tomorrow evening. Ross County hope to join Adhogan's side in the top flight next season, but their place among the elite isn't secure yet - a draw would be enough to seal consecutive promotions but a defeat will give a chance for Dinot Riders to take 2nd place.

THIS SEASON--------------------------------------------------
This season is a complete reversal for Shawfield. Last season they struggled badly and were cast adrift at the bottom of the Norfolk League. The arrival of Adhogan as manager has transformed their fortunes and attitude though. Eight wins from their first 10 games set up their promotion push and they sealed their spot in the Norfolk league next season last weekend. In the cups they have also been excellent. On Wednesday they clinched their first trophy with a league cup triumph. They came close in the Trophy too, but Dutch Warriors were too strong in the final on that occasion.

Just like Adhogan, MacLeod's impact on Ross County has also been superb. Under many different managers and names, Ross County were the wipping boys struggling around the lower reaches of Division Two. Under MacLeod though, they secured immediate promotion to Division One last term, and now they stand on the verge of another. They have tussled with Dinot Riders for 2nd spot all season but last weeks results have given them a 3 point cushion. They also produced their best cup fun by reaching the semi final of the league cup.
