Adhogan faces tough
start
The draw for the 1st
Round of the Norfolk Trophy was made on Wednesday evening and perhaps the
most interesting tie sees last seasons Division Two champions Ross County
Reserves face relegated Norfolk league side Shawfield Reborn. The game
takes upon an extra twist with Adhogan's switch to Shawfield from Turnip
Torsoes, who were denied promotion partly by Ross County last
season.
Elsewhere, two Norfolk League sides are in action and face
Division Two sides. Former winners Hotshots face AFC Trotters, whilst two
of the youngest sides clash as the Ash Samba Boyz face Rubber
Dubbers.
There is also a local derby clash as Matthew Sanders'
Norfolk Enchants face fellow Division Two side New Field
Rangers.
The two new managers to the Norfolk league received mixed
fortunes. AVM XI face a daunting tie with Division One side Hoole FC,
whilst the newly named Higland Select (formally MJH Athletic) face No
Surrender Gers.
The other 2 ties are Division One v Division Two as
Dinot Riders host last seasons beaten semi-finalists Chertseychoppers
whilst the next side to face Car Fax Utd's winning streak will be
N.Y.Muggers, the side they swapped divisions with last season.
