CAR FAX UTD v ASH SAMBA BOYZ
Wembley Xpert Arena.
Wednesday 27th February.
Kick off: 6:00pm
--------------------------------------

For the first time the final of the
Norfolk league's most prostigous cup
competition arrives at the Wembley
Xpert Arena - And its a battle of  The two opposing managers pose by a replica trophy
David v Goliath proportions as top flight Ash Samba Boyz take on local rivals Car Fax Utd.

Both sides are playing in their first ever domestic cup final. The Samba Boyz are no strangers to big games and trophies - they won the Norfolk league in seasons 2 and 3, but their cup record was atrocious before last seasons run to the league cup semi-final. They have bad memories of playing at the Xpert Arena though, having lost their only ever match their 5-0!

Car Fax's run to the final has been of what dreams are made of. They failed to win any of their first 7 league cups, and at the end of last season they'd just come off of a run of 26 league matches (8 months) without a win! However, relegation to the bottom league seems to have brought a new team spirit out of the Car Fax boys. They have gained confidence gained from winning a couple of league games whilst also gaining a tremendous underdog mentality thats seen them produce some of their finest results in their history defeating Chigley, Dutch Warriors and Norfolk Enchants on their way to the final.

The two managers visited this
brand new stadium on friday and
both revealed they are looking
forward to the occasion.
Car Fax boss Matthew Sanders
admitted he was full of
excitement. " i dont know what
to do with myself im so excited
i just want it to be wednesday
The press await egailly for the pre-match press
now im sure the players and            conference
fans fell the same way and im really looking forward to the game". His rival and friend William Young responded by saying "it should be a great day out for our supporters. We've never been fortunate enough to play in a cup final like this before so everyone is buzzing around the club and can't wait.

The game takes place at the brand new Wembley Xpert Arena and is the first time the final has been played on a neutral venue.

PLAYERS TO WATCH
-----------------------
                                                   CAR FAX: KEN WILLIAMSON
                                           defender
The rock at the heart of the Car Fax
defence. The experienced 34-year-                                           old has been named in the xpert
eleven team of the day 8 times this
                                           season, and his organisation and
leadership will be key if Car Fax are
to triumph. His away goal in the
semi final is why Car Fax are at this
                                           stage.

NED BROOMES, Striker
The 18-year-old has been a revalation this season scoring 11 times in 21 appearances having been promoted through the youth ranks at the end of last season.

JASON TROTT, Stiker
11 goals in 14 matches is an extremely good record for a striker who couldn't hit a barn door in the rest of his Car Fax career. He scored 2 crucial goals in the 1st leg of the semi final against the new Norfolk league champions.

ASH SAMBA BOYZ: AARON BRIGHTWELL, Midfielder
The 24-year-old is one of the best players in his position around. He's been in top form again this season baging 12 xpert eleven nominations and scoring the 2 key goals in the semi-final against Toon Rejects.

ALF KELLY, Striker
Neo Gray is a legend in the Norfolk league, but its his young 19-year-old deputy who has grabed the headlines in recent weeks bagging 3 crucial goals to keep the Samba Boyz away from relegation since being recalled to the team earlier this month.

TINO CASSILO, Defender
The experienced skipper has had an injury hit season and as a result hasn't been in great form but he is the leader of the side and the youngster around him will rely on his calming influence.
