Sanders set for Car Fax
return
The first round
draw for the Norfolk league cup has thrown up an emotional return to Car
Fax Utd for former manager Matthew Sanders. Sanders guided Car Fax to
victory in this competition in season 5, but left the Division Two side
two weeks ago to take over Norfolk Enchants.
Current holders Ash
Samba Boyz begin against Division Two side No Surrender Gers who will be
preparing for their first campaign in this competition.
Two other
previous winners will be in action next Wednesday. MJH Athletic, winners
in Season 4, face Norfolk league strugglers Hoole F.C whilst New Field
Rangers (winners in season 1) will be hoping for an upset against Division
one side Wislon F.C.
Possibly the game of the round sees Division
One leaders Dros Delnoch up against Norfolk league giants Hotshots.
Another potential upset sees Division Two high fliers Turnip Torsoes
taking on Norfolk league side Shawfield Park Rangers who don't have a
great record in cup competitions.
There are 2 all divisional ties.
Smallville FC face Dinot Riders whilst AFC Trotters will host Rubber
Dubbers in the first leg.
