This weekend our Big Game Preview team has travelled to continental Europe to preview the "Scandanavian Derby" at the top of Division One as Sweden's Shawfield Reborn host Denmark's Dinot Riders. Shawfield currently lead the table with a 4 point advantage over 2nd placed Smallville. The Riders lie third, 6 points behind Shawfield, and 2 adrift of the promotion places.

THE SEASON SO FAR

Shawfield were relegated from the Norfolk League last term, but have bounced back superbly. In the league they have won 7 and drawn 2 of their 9 matches - a run that bagged Adhogan Manager of the Month for February. Only promotion rivals Smallville and Dinot Riders have denied them victory. In the Trophy they were defeated on penalties by Ross County and in the league cup their run was ended in Round 2 by Highland Select. They defeated Fulham FC in round 1.

Dinot Riders have finished 3rd in three of their last four seasons and their be looking to go one better this time. Their league campaign started impressively with 4 straight victories. Since then though they have won just once and have been beaten twice by Smallville, results that have helped Daniel Taylor's side to leap frog them into 2nd place. They too have exited both cup competitions to top flight sides. In the Trophy they lost 2-1 to City of Uhra, whilst Amazingstoke Gooners ended their League Cup campaign in Round 2.
