------------------------------------------------------------- DIVISION ONE: toon rejects v Toon Army, Saturday 31st October 2009, Kick off: 19:00 CET, at Castle Park, Surrey. ------------------------------------------------------------- This week we focus on the battle at the bottom of the table where two of the suprise early season strugglers meet at Castle Park this weekend. Both sides currently fill the bottom two spots but both will be hoping a victory this Saturday can kick start their season.
THE SEASON SO FAR-------------------------------------------- Last season toon rejects finished 4th, just missing out on promotion on the final day of the season. During the silly season the rejects strengthened their squad with the big money signing of Carter Harvey. They went unbeaten in their 3 pre-season friendlies and won their opening cup game against chertseychoppers. Since then though, they have failed to win any of their last 5 games, but they have only conceded 1 goal in their last 3 matches so maybe a return to form is just around the corner.
Toon Army sufferend a difficult end to last season. They lost their last 5 league matches which saw them relegated on the final day of the season. In the off season, previous manager Waylander departed and was replaced by Aldershot TOON boss Sean-NUFC. Their season started well winning through to the quarter Finals of the League Cup, but last weekends win over leaders Dinot Riders was their first league victory of the season.

PREDICTION---------------------------------------------------- Both sides have struggled recently and appear to be a little low on confidence, especially in front of goal. However, Toon Army's victory over Dinot Riders will provide a warning of what they are capable of and toon rejects are traditionally good at home. Both will be desperate for the three points to kick start their season. However, there is also a chance they may cancel each other out.
PREDICTION: 1-1 draw.
