Norfolk Trophy: Quarter Final Preview
The draw for the quarter finals if the Norfolk Trophy has kept the 3 remaining Norfolk League sides apart.
Current holders Ash Samba Boyz will face Highland Select who are currently 4th in Division One. It will be the two sides first meeting for nearly 18 months. The Samba Boyz have won 4 from 4 so far in all competitons whilst Highland will be looking to make the last 4 of a cup competition for the first time since season 4.
Dutch Warriors have a potentially awkard tie against the highflying AFC Trotters who currently lie 3rd in Division One and reached the final of this competition two seasons ago having defeated the Warriors on penalties along the way,
Hotshots won this competition back in season 5 and the early signs are that they are one of the strongest sides around at the moment. They face Drakies Dazzerlers, currently experiencing their first season in Division One - the Dazzerlers put out top flight Smallville in the last round.
Finally, an all Division One clash as the strongest side in the competition (according to the Team Strength in the VIP stats) Amazingstoke Gooners face Season 9 winners Toon Army. The Gooners have won 4 from 4 this season in all competitions whilst Toon Army are yet to concede a goal in the competition so far this season.
