Norfolk Trophy Preview
Season 11 kicks off tomorrow night with a bang with the first round of the Norfolk Trophy. 30 of the 31 sides are involved with Ross County having been awarded a bye through to Round 2.
Last seasons competition saw a local derby in the final as Ash Samba Boyz edged out Smallville FC 2-0 . The Samba Boyz will be looking to become only the 2nd side to retain the competition and they kick off against Division Three side Hammersmith City.
The highlight of Round 1 appears to be the all clash between two of the three most successful sides in this league's history as Dutch Warriors face City of Uhra. There's also another big clash between HM Gunners and Shawfield Reborn.
Some of the other highlights see Division Two side Dangler Dans looking for a shock win as they face Hotshots whilst there is the Parsons derby as Murray's toon rejects face Lewis' chertseychoppers. The two new sides Legend Killers and Ridgêlánd Fìrè will play their first ever competitive games against each other.

- If a game is level at the end of 90 minutes, the game goes to extra time and penalties.
- The competition is a direct knockout so one defeat and your out.
- There is no seeding in the draw for any of the rounds.
- Because of the uneven number of teams, Ross County Reserves have been randomly drawn to receive a bye through to round 2.
