This week we focus on the promotion battle at the top of Division Three as fourth placed Tartan Army host leaders Dangler Dans at Bannockburn.
THIS SEASON------------------------------------------------
Tartan Army have performed well in their debut season. They have been defeated just once (by Spatula United) and are unbeated in their last 3 league games. They came close to causing a big upset in the league cup on Wednesday - winning at last seasons finalists toon rejects before eventually slipping to a 5-4 aggregate defeat.
Dangler Dans lead the pack by 3 points in their first full season under manager Dan Derkson. They too came close to upsetting higher league opposition in the league cup, only losing to Blackhawk Rangers 7-6 on aggregate.
