HALL OF FAME - HISTORY

SEASON 4

**************Fourth Season***********************
This time the league structure remained the same, although Division 1 was reduced to 7 teams. The Norfolk Trophy was also cancelled again due to a lack of time. Millars Magics, Barca Boyz and Al-Ahly were all sacked whilst Norfolk And Chance and Toon rejects joined the fray.

Again the title race went down to the final day although it turned out to be a bit of an anti-climax. With 2 matches to go, Hotshots killed off defending champions Ash Samba Boyz hopes, leaving themselves with an effective play off with Dutch Warriors for the title - However Hotshots had to win 6-0 away to claim the title but they could only manage a point. The Warriors were worthy champions - hitting the front half way through the season and going through the whole season unbeaten.

At the bottom, founder sides New Field Rangers and Emu Warriors struggled and were eventually cut adrift at the bottom.

----------------------Division One--------------------------
Division 1 always looked like being a 2 horse race between White Riot
and HM Gunners. White Riot eventually coasted to promotion whilst the Gunners managed to hold off a charge from Shawfield Park Rangers for the 2nd spot. At the bottom, Car Fax were comfortably relegated, but the final place was decided in a 3-way battle on the final day of the season - Dinot Riders loosing out - but with the expansion of the league to 8 teams they eventually stayed up.

----------------------Division Two----------------------------
The sides who finished 3rd and 4th in the previous season (Dros Delnoch and Blut Royale) sealed promotion comfortably. Newbies Norfolk And chance brightened up the league with the personality of their manager Armoth - and they did well in their opening season finishing a creditable 4th. Toon rejects, the other newcommers came 3rd. Truro FC changed their manager near the end of the season, whilst Tottenham sacked theirs half way through

----------------------Norfolk League Cup--------------------
Their were new champions in the league cup. MJH Athletic edging out White Riot in a tense final. Holders Dutch Warriors and league champions Ash Samba Boyz were the beaten semi-finalists. The game of the tournament saw HM Gunners inflict a rare defeat on the Warriors 6-4 - but still loosing on aggregate 7-6.
