Bagpuss to Manage Gohtza Gohtza City today announced that Bagpuss will take over from Nicholas Millar at the end of the season. A club insider denied that the appointment was further proof that the Chairman was struggling financially. "Bagpuss is not a short term appointment. We believe that he has the management skills to get the best out of Lescott and Eaves. And lets not forget that Emily loved him." Bagpuss is looking forward to working again with Jasper Downie. The pair were close friends during their early careers. However, Downie may not want to dress up as Professor Yaffle these days. It may affect his career as a Hannibal Lector lookalike. Gohtza are not the first team to appoint a former children's television star.
