Saunders poaches Millars son

Chigley Town manager Andrew Saunders has agreed terms with Norfolk Enchants manager Nick Millar’s own son to take him to Pippin Fort. This extremely talented 17 year old defender is tipped to be the new Bobby Moore and has been kept under wraps by Millar in an attempt to shield him from the media. Saunders landed his private helicopter in Frogmore Leisure Centre in the middle of a Norfolk training session yesterday morning to speak to Nick Millar jnr. He acted when hearing of a rift between father and son and offered the youngster a five year deal with guaranteed first team football and a very lucrative pay offer.

“I don’t know who Saunders thinks he is but he has poached my own bloody son from me” said Millar before eating what appeared to be a packet of Marks and Spencer crisps. He went on to say “I am going to have the last laugh though because I plan to have twenty more kids that will be even more talanted and they will be locked away until they are ready to play for the mighty Norfolk Enchants”.

Nick Millar jnr said “My old man has been losing the plot recently. He has been acting in an increasingly bizarre fashion and has taken to stealing keys from anywhere he can find them and keeping them in his pocket. He also has a pet potato that he keeps in a cage in his office”.

Millar will join Chigley on Saturday morning after completing a medical examination and agreeing final terms of his contract
