DANGLER DANS 5-4 TOON REJECTS

Late strikes from Jude McCann and Robbie Janso completed a superb late comeback for the Dangler Dans after a crazy second half goal bonanza .

Both sides entered the match level on 10 points and lying just 2 points clear of the drop zone. The visitors were searching for their first away win this season and they made the perfect start as Carter Harvey headed in a cross from Cameron Gibbens after just 14 minutes. The goal was just reward for the rejects who had the better of the first half and entered the break in front.

The home crowd stayed patient though and were rewarded by a goal blitz in the second half. The fun began with 3 goals within 5 minutes of the restart though. The Dans' quickly converted the defecit to a lead as first Lou Hoyle struck his first goal of the season from a counter attack before Wilfred Kaye scored with an effort from outside the box. Not to be outdone, the rejects hit back within 2 minutes from a Jonathan Hassell headed - Colin Kazim-Richards the provider this time.

The game then went quiet for 8 minutes before another 3 goals blitz - this time in a 2 minute period. First Kazim-Richards scored a header to put the rejects 3-2 up, then Thom Foss made it 4 just a minute later. Stanley Hillström got the hosts straight back in the game after he headed home a Jude McCann corner.

Dangler Dans pushed for an equaliser but their hopes of clinching a thrilling draw appeared to be fading until Jude McCann scored a header in the 89th minute. At 4-4 it looked like both sets of fans would be going home happy but Robbie Janso completed the comeback with a dramitically late breakaway to send Dangler Dans above toon rejects into 4th place.
