Van Wanrooy was a key member of the Warriors back line throughout their first 2 season when they diminated the Norfolk league caliming 2 cup wins and 2 league triumphs. Indeeed, he missed only one of the Warriors first 46 matches! In the later seasons his role changed as age started to catch up with him and youngsters Kim Venema and Merco Cocu emerged, he became a squad player.
